Projects
Southampton Forward is working on a series of projects in partnership with a wide range of local organisations. We want to enhance the city’s vibrant cultural scene and spotlight Southampton’s unique identity and heritage.
Many of the projects are driven and informed by communities as part of a three-year programme across all 17 wards, ranging from intimate projects in homes to an annual mass participation, co-created project where everyone in the city, and beyond, can get involved.

Trusts and grant makers
We work with trusts and grant makers who enable us to facilitate community-led, co-created projects in partnership with local organisations.
The support of funders, cultural institutions and national bodies who support the growth of Southampton’s creative industries has allowed us to launch the first phase of a varied set of projects that celebrate and enhance the city’s cultural scene in different ways.
