We are seeking an experienced producer/project manager to work with a multi-stakeholder project team to deliver a public event based around street art.

Background
Developed in partnership with Westquay, Multi-Stories is a project designed to celebrate Southampton’s communities, their vibrant culture, and the power of creative expression. We aim to create a platform for street artists and musicians to showcase their talent, provide opportunities for up-and-coming Southampton based artists and to involve communities through a mix of activities from graffiti masterclasses and drop-in art sessions, to breakdancing and skate lessons. 2024 will be the event’s second year.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced producer/ project manager to deliver a public event. The main outputs of this contract are to:
- Be overall Event Manager
- Manage Health & Safety
- Produce Risk Assessments
- Liaise with Westquay re: Public Liability Insurance
- Coordination with Westquay Operations team including but not limited to: Ops Manager, Traffic Management, Security Team, Cleaning Team.
- Provide logisistics oversight of whole and communication with project team, artists, traders, workshop facilitators, other suppliers and contractors.
- Produce layout plans, Noise Management Plan, wet weather plan and other event management documents as required.
- Liaise with neighbouring properties/retailers.
- Liaise with Southampton Forward and Westquay marketing team.
- Liaise with creative teams regarding the welfare of artists and team i.e.: toilets/F&B

The contractor will be expected to provide their own IT equipment to enable them to fulfil the requirements of the contract, including access to a computer/laptop, the internet and phone. |
