Sam Lee, a Mercury Prize-nominated artist, has redefined British folk music, blending traditional songs with contemporary sounds.
His critically acclaimed album “songdreaming” and debut novel “The Nightingale” showcase his deep connection to nature and cultural heritage.
A passionate conservationist, Sam founded “Singing With Nightingales,” highlighting endangered species through immersive events.
His work with Music Declares Emergency and EarthPercent underscores his environmental advocacy.
From his groundbreaking debut “Ground Of Its Own” to collaborations with Bernard Butler, Sam’s music resonates with global influences, celebrating human experience and nature.
His mentorship by Stanley Robertson and exploration of Gypsy Traveller songs enrich his unique approach, making him a pivotal figure in music and environmental activism.
