Culture programme

From street art to corner shops, we are proud to be collaborating with communities and organisations across all of the city on our culture programme.

Following on from our partnership with Westquay on Multi-Stories in 2023, coming up in 2024 we are co-creating projects that celebrate the many storytellers, change makers and cultural innovators in communities, and others which offer sector support and capacity-building for organisations across the city.

Festivals and events

Southampton’s Festival and Events Strategy outlines a roadmap to support the development of a mix of quality festivals and events for the city.

We are part of the conversation to build a vibrant year-round offer and to celebrate and make the most of our existing cultural assets and strengths. We want to build local pride and provide opportunities for local people, businesses and visitors.
