Carolyn is the heart and soul of the Cats Protection Southampton Branch, a lifeline for cats and kittens in need across the city and surrounding areas. Though we are all volunteers, it is Carolyn’s tireless energy, leadership, and passion that keep us united and driven to make a difference. Her dedication goes beyond what most would expect from a volunteer, as she coordinates everything from rescue efforts to rehoming operations as if it were a full-time job, all motivated by her deep love for animals.

Under Carolyn’s guidance, our branch has not only helped rehome countless cats but has also taken a proactive approach to reducing the feral cat population in the community. Carolyn has organised and led our team in trapping, neutering, and releasing feral cats, making a significant impact on controlling the growing population. This initiative alone has changed the lives of many cats and improved conditions for residents
